Fun Fall Craft for Mabon
When I think of the autumn season, my mind instantly goes to apples. Apples are currently in season, so that has gotta mean it’s Fall y’all!
The autumn season also brings in Mabon [may • bn]. Mabon is on the wheel of the year that begins on the autumn equinox (on or around September 20). It also kicks off the celebration of the harvest season.
In my opinion, this craft is perfect for this time of year and it’s super cute and simple!
All you need for the Mabon apple craft are some apples, tealight candles, and something to create a circular cut-out for the candle.
I created the perfect-sized circle for the tealight by using an empty tealight candle. First, I turned it upside down, centered it, and then used a mallet to hammer it down. I then used a small spoon to pry out the apple core. Another idea would be to use a melon scooper used to do this.
This beautiful yet straightforward apple craft for Mabon is perfect as a tablescape for a family dinner.
This Mabon apple craft truly brings in the cozy feels of the fall season.
