Day of the Dead Sugar Skull DIY Craft
Glow In The Dark Jars
The glow-in-the-dark jar sugar skull craft is super easy to create, and the end product is unique and eye-catching!
Everyone will be envious of your cool one-of-a-kind neon glow in the dark jar that they will ask how you did it OR if you generously decide to give your sugar skull creation to a friend, they will be both impressed with your crafting skills and excited to display it in their home.
Jar 1
Sticker Sugar Skull
The first jar is easy but requires a Cricut machine and vinyl OR if you find a sticker outlining a sugar skull, even better and EASIER!
For this craft, I found a sugar skull image and used my Cricut to create a sticker. The image I used can be found [HERE]
After you have a sticker, the next step is to stick that onto a clean and empty jar.
Jar 2
Painted Sugar Skull
Another way to create a sugar skull glow in the dark jar is to draw one directly onto the jar with paint markers. This version will be more colorful than a sticker.
What I did was, find a sugar skull image [I used this one]. I had to resize it and then printed it.
After I printed the sugar skull, I cut it out and taped it to the inside of the jar.
After securely taped, I used paint markers to trace and color the sugar skull to the jar.
BAM! Easy
